Welcome

With the stresses of daily life, relationships and unpredictable events in combination with individual vulnerabilities, all of us have periods in our lives where we are struggling. Reaching out for help takes courage, as does allowing yourself to be vulnerable with a clinician.

I am a Clinical Psychologist. My aim is to work with you to provide support, understanding and different ways of thinking about and managing difficulties so you are able to move forward feeling better about your life and yourself. I am motivated by developing an understanding of how individuals think and behave, and in seeing positive changes when people develop insight and hope. You are the expert with your lived experience; it is my job to work with you to help you achieve change.

Services

I provide psychological assessments and interventions for young people age 18 years up to 60 years. Sessions are generally 50-60 minutes long and can be weekly or fortnightly, or can be negotiated depending on the need and circumstances.

Therapy approaches

I utilise evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR and trauma-informed care (in addition to other strategies such as psychotherapeutic and narrative therapies) underlying a flexible and individualised approach to support the people I see.
